Henry Ford Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Hospitalist to join our collaborative, physician-led team at Henry Ford Hospital - Jackson
, part of the Henry Ford Health System.
This inpatient-only opportunity offers a rewarding role within a community hospital setting supported by one of Michigan's most respected healthcare systems. Clinical responsibilities include:
- Attending deliveries with neonatal resuscitation
- Caring for healthy newborns and hospitalized children up to age 18
- Providing pediatric consultations in the Emergency Department
- Managing infants in our Level II Special Care Nursery
, including: - Prematurity (32 weeks)
- Low birth weight (>1500 g)
- Respiratory distress, infections, feeding issues, congenital anomalies
- Circumcisions
- Umbilical central lines
- Lumbar punctures
- Frenotomies
- Intubations
- Emergency pneumothorax decompression
- 12-hour in-house shifts on a rotating schedule
- Opportunities for teaching medical students, transitional year interns, and Family Medicine residents
- No fellowship required
Located in Jackson, Michigan
