A Neurology clinic is seeking a provider for locum, locum-to-perm, or permanent placement to cover a vacancy. The position involves outpatient neurology care for a primarily adult patient base, with some pediatric cases.
Schedule & Coverage:
Monday Friday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Full-time availability required
Practice Setting:
Neurology clinic
95% adult patients, 5% pediatric patients
Patient load: patients per day
Group composition: 3 physicians, no advanced practice providers
Onsite facilities include lab and x-ray
Office support includes 1 RN navigator, 4 medical assistants, and 3 customer service representatives
EMR:
Epic
Trauma Level: 2
Clinical Responsibilities & Procedures:
Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
EMG (electromyogram)
Botulinum toxin administration (Botox)
Credentialing:
Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days
Clean background preferred
Requirements & Qualifications:
Board Certified in Neurology
Active Michigan state license
BLS certification
Self-query NPDB required (within the past month)
Full-time availability is required
