Physician - Rheumatology

Job Details:

• Locum Tenens position for adult and geriatric rheumatology care

•

Schedule:

4 10-hour shifts or 5 8-hour shifts in clinic setting

• Call Requirements: 24-hour hospital call (Tuesday-Monday), 2 weeks per month (1:2 call ratio)

• Patient Load: 16-18 patients per day in clinic; approximately 1 case per day for hospital-based care

• Perform joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections

• Work with supportive team including MA, RN, and front desk staff

• EMR System:
Epic

• Level 2 Trauma facility

• Coverage needed ASAP with ongoing duration

• Board Certification in Rheumatology required

• Active Michigan medical license required

• Fellowship training in Rheumatology required

• BLS certification required

• Experience with joint aspirations and corticosteroid injections required

• Credentialing timeframe: 90-120 days

• Weekend coverage required

Compensation:
