Cardiology NP Locums Job in Michigan | 7 Days On, 7 Days Off | 1/4/2027 - 6/4/2027 | Assignment #117575

• January 4, 2027 - June 4, 2027
• Estimated credentialing time frame: 90-120 days

• Two weeks per month with 7 days on and 7 days off, Sunday through Saturday
• Day shifts from 7:30am to 4pm
• Weekend coverage required
• No overnight or on-call coverage

• Board certified
• Three or more years of prior cardiology experience in inpatient and outpatient settings
• Active Michigan license at the time of name clear
• BLS, ACLS
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues
• Acute care trained - Highly Preferred

• Facility hiring multiple candidates
• Inpatient, hospital-based practice setting
• Patient population is 100% adult, including geriatric patients
• Practice mix is 80% inpatient and 20% outpatient
• The majority of the role involves staffing with physicians for inpatient rounding
• Average daily volume is 20-25 patients based on the inpatient list
• EMR:
  Epic
• Facility Trauma Level: Level II
• Leadership and teaching responsibilities are included
• Manage follow-up patients on the cardiology inpatient rounding service
• Provide discharge instructions
• Manage post-procedure care
