Alternative Energy Adjunct Instructor

Teach courses in Alternative Energy based on instructor's qualifications.
Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments will vary from semester to semester and are based on enrollment. There may be semesters where no assignments are available.
Essential Functions- Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments and papers.
- Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts) in person and/or online.
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
- Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
- Participate in required reporting processes (grades, participation, etc.).
- Assist students in connecting to college resources.
- Bachelor degree or higher in Alternative Energy; or
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Architecture; or
- AAS in Electrical, Environmental Science, HVAC, or Sustainability with 3 years relevant industry experience (documentation of experience required); or
- Bachelor degree in Engineering; or
- AAS in Electrical or Alternative Energy with 5 years relevant industry experience (documentation of experience required); or
- Master Electrician; or
- AAS in HVAC; or
- Industry certification in HVAC with 5 years relevant experience (documentation of experience required).
