The position is part-time and may vary from semester to semester based on enrollment. Only a limited number of assignments are available each semester, and in some semesters there may be no assignments.

• Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments and papers.
• Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, handouts) in person and/or online.
• Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
• Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
• Participate in required reporting processes (grades, participation, etc.).
• Assist students in connecting to college resources.

Bachelor degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology or related field.

• For courses MFG 115, 135, 137, 150, 160, 166, 170, 172, 174, 185, 190, 240, 262:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (engineering, architecture, technology, manufacturing, welding, etc.)
  • OR Associate degree or higher and completion of relevant certification (MSSC CPT, SACA, or similar)
  • OR Associate degree or higher AND 3 years documented work experience in industry
  • OR Journeyman Machinist or similar professional license
  • OR Five years documented industrial experience relevant to the course.
• For course MFG 211:
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field AND successful completion of FANUC Handling Tool training or similar certification.
  • OR Associate degree or higher in any field AND successful completion of FANUC NOCTI CERT 1 or similar certification.
  • OR Associate degree or higher in any field AND 3 years documented experience programming FANUC Handling Tool Operations or similar.
  • OR 5 years documented industry experience with FANUC Handling Tool or similar robotic programming software.
