Manufacturing Technology Adjunct Instructor

The position is part-time and may vary from semester to semester based on enrollment. Only a limited number of assignments are available each semester, and in some semesters there may be no assignments.
Essential Functions- Evaluate and grade students' class work, assignments and papers.
- Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, handouts) in person and/or online.
- Initiate, facilitate, and moderate classroom discussions.
- Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
- Participate in required reporting processes (grades, participation, etc.).
- Assist students in connecting to college resources.
Bachelor degree or higher in Manufacturing Technology or related field.
- For courses MFG 115, 135, 137, 150, 160, 166, 170, 172, 174, 185, 190, 240, 262:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field (engineering, architecture, technology, manufacturing, welding, etc.)
- OR Associate degree or higher and completion of relevant certification (MSSC CPT, SACA, or similar)
- OR Associate degree or higher AND 3 years documented work experience in industry
- OR Journeyman Machinist or similar professional license
- OR Five years documented industrial experience relevant to the course.
- For course MFG 211:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in any field AND successful completion of FANUC Handling Tool training or similar certification.
- OR Associate degree or higher in any field AND successful completion of FANUC NOCTI CERT 1 or similar certification.
- OR Associate degree or higher in any field AND 3 years documented experience programming FANUC Handling Tool Operations or similar.
- OR 5 years documented industry experience with FANUC Handling Tool or similar robotic programming software.
- Unofficial transcripts for degrees held must be included with application. Required work experience must be clearly identified on the application; otherwise the application will be rejected as incomplete.
