GSRP Associate Teacher

• Child Development Associate (CDA) credential in Early Childhood Education;
  or
• Associate degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development;
  or
• Equivalent coursework as defined by GSRP guidelines, with willingness to complete additional required training.
• First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Must be able to pass required background checks.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and meet the physical demands of working with young children.
• Assist the Lead Teacher in planning and delivering daily instruction aligned with GSRP curriculum, Early Childhood Standards of Quality, and program requirements.
• Assist with ongoing child assessments using approved tools and maintain accurate documentation.
• Collaborate with the Lead Teacher to support classroom management, instructional planning, and students’ individualized needs.
• Engage regularly with families through conferences, newsletters, and ongoing engagement activities.
• Participate in home visits, parent meetings and family engagement events as required by GSRP guidelines.
• Maintain compliance with licensing regulations, GSRP policies, and program quality standards.
• Attend professional development, coaching sessions, and staff meetings.
• Perform other duties/assignments as assigned by the lead teacher and/or the child care director.
