Associate Resource Manager – Electrical Engineer

Department: Engineering – Generation Assets (Solar, Wind, Battery)

Location: Jackson, MI

Duration: Contract through 12/31/2026 (Possible Extension)

The Project Engineer will support the engineering and development of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and battery systems. This role collaborates closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful execution of multiple projects, providing technical expertise in electrical, mechanical, and civil disciplines to enhance project quality and performance.

• Provide engineering support for the development and execution of renewable generation projects (solar, wind, battery).
• Support 3–4 active projects concurrently, ensuring alignment with design and construction requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, civil) to optimize project outcomes and resolve technical challenges.
• Assist in preparing technical documentation, design reviews, and project specifications.
• Support field teams and contractors during design, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with utility and regulatory standards throughout the project lifecycle.

• Experience: Minimum 4–6 years of engineering experience in generation plants, substations, or utilities.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline (required).
• Strong understanding of renewable energy systems and power generation processes.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and collaborate across diverse teams.
