Medical Assistant – Podiatry – Days $2,000 SIGN ON BONUS

Our feet make up 25 percent of our body’s bones and 18 percent of our joints. Healthy feet are essential to mobility and the way we complete our daily tasks. Although our feet get a substantial part of the wear and tear from our regular activity, and foot pain is highly common, few of us give our feet the care and attention they deserve.

Since we walk an average of 100,000 miles over a lifetime, proper foot care is important for everyone. It is especially critical for individuals with diabetes, because circulatory problems associated with that disease can lead to severe infection from unhealed foot wounds.

• Greeting and escorting patients to the exam room.
• Obtaining medical histories.
• The measurement and recording of vital signs.
• Preparing patients for an examination/procedure.
• Assisting the provider during the examination/procedure.

SHIFT DETAILS:
The schedule for this position is Tuesday through Friday from 8:00am-4:30pm

Full Time, 40 hours per week

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills preferred.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills as related to ambulatory patient care preferred.
• Ability to problem‑solve preferred. Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
• EPIC (Electronic Medical Record) experience preferred.
• Prior experience as a Medical Assistant (MA)
• Demonstrated flexibility and adaptability in response to rapid change
• Proven ability to thrive in fast‑paced and busy work environments

Current BLS‑C upon hire or successful completion by end of orientation.
