Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both a clinical and management role. This position plans, organizes, and directs the provision of patient care services within the department. The Assistant Clinical Manager assists in development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals and objectives, regulatory compliance, and policies within the department.

The Assistant Clinical Manager assists in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

• Plan, organize, and direct the provision of patient care services within the Maternal Child Administration department.
• Assist in development, implementation, and monitoring of budgets and staffing levels.
• Support quality improvement programs, regulatory compliance, and policy development.
• Assist in the evaluation and discipline of personnel.

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Two (2) years RN experience
• Must meet or exceed customer service responsibilities, standards and behaviors as outlined in HFHS Customer Service Policy:

• Must practice customer service skills as provided through ongoing training and in-services

• Current RN License in the State of Michigan
