Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead the team in Agile practices and clean coding throughout the product lifecycle, providing mentorship to junior and mid‑level engineers.
  • Support continuous improvement of Agile, coding quality, and technical expertise.
  • Drive technical direction for solutions, ensuring understanding and implementation of key technical concepts.
  • Collaborate with other developers in an Agile team environment, leveraging clean coding principles.
  • Make significant architectural decisions, applying best practices for system design while meeting performance, scalability, security, and maintainability requirements.
  • Understand business context and objectives, articulating how software solutions contribute to overall business value.
  • Maintain end‑to‑end solutions, address production bugs, and ensure overall system reliability.
  • Provide direct velocity on product development initiatives where needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Strong coaching and mentoring ability, leading technical aspects of product teams.
  • Complex decision‑making skills with influence over technical and business stakeholders.
  • Expertise in full‑stack architecture, system design, and multiple development languages, demonstrating mastery of syntax, idioms, and toolsets.
  • Ability to evaluate and implement best practices in software engineering.
  • Excellent analytical skills for assessing challenges, applying problem‑solving techniques, and refining engineering approaches.
  • Promotion of collaboration within teams and a culture of technical excellence.
  • Constructive code review skills using craftsmanship principles and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for technical discussions and stakeholder alignment.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer, engineering, or related discipline with four (4) or more years of relevant coding experience.
  • [OR] Associate’s degree in computer, engineering, or related discipline with six (6) or more years of relevant coding experience.
  • [OR] High School Diploma/GED with eight (8) or more years of relevant coding experience.
Preferred Experience
  • Proven expertise in C# and .NET (Core, .NET 5).
  • Proven expertise in front‑end languages/frameworks (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Next.js).
  • Experience with API management platforms (e.g., Apigee, Azure API Management, Mulesoft) and API security (OAuth, JWT).
  • Experience with testing tools (e.g., Bruno, Postman, Blazemeter, Jmeter, Certify).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure AD, Data Factory, Logic Apps, Functions).
  • Experience with Azure Generative AI services (OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Speech Services, RAG model).
  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops, CLI, Power Shell, and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Knowledge of cloud architecture (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS, serverless).
  • Proven expertise in Python and experience with machine learning frameworks.
  • Experience in data modeling and data engineering.
