• Base pay range: $70.00/hr - $80.00/hr
• Hourly Pay Rate Range (dependent on location, experience, expectation): $70-$80/hr

This is a contract role through Magnit for Consumers Energy in Jackson, Michigan. This is a hybrid role but only requires occasional on‑site reporting. ONLY Michigan residents will be considered.

• Build, implement and maintain Service Now Modules.
• Perform analysis and refine system requirements and designs.
• Ensure the rigorous application of information security/ information assurance policies, principles, and practices to the delivery of Service Now.
• Build complex Service Now workflows and catalog items.
• Participate in design and code reviews for other members of the development team.
• Support complex integrations to and from Service Now.
• Identify, develop, deploy, and provide post‑implementation support of infrastructure and/or application technologies to support the company’s business requirements.
• Apply principles, methods, and procedures for designing, developing, optimizing, and integrating new and/or reusable systems components.
• Perform prototyping, design, development, testing, debugging, documentation, and implementation of software applications in an agile environment.
• Work with a cross‑functional team to implement and deliver solutions that include agile methodologies.

• Must have experience creating Service Now update sets and workflows, promoting and testing through multiple instances and into production.
• Service Now build and maintenance experience is preferred for the following Service Now Modules:
  • IT Service Management – Incident, Change, Problem, Asset, Release and Discovery Modules
  • IT Operations Management – Event Management and Discovery Modules
  • Security Operations – Vulnerability Response Module
  • Intelligent Apps – Automated Testing Framework Module
  • Knowledge Management, Service Portals, CMDB, Service Catalog and Analytics
• Experience with complex integrations including Vera Smart, SAP, and Clarity.
• Experience working with APIs (inbound/outbound).

• A bachelor's degree in a related field of study;
  Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other IT-related area.
• Candidate should have 5 years of IT Operations and build experience within a Service Now enterprise environment.
