Sales Representative

Our Jackson area Insurance Agency is growing! Previous insurance experience is helpful, but not necessary. We are looking to add the right person to our team. The right candidate must possess the following skills:
Self-motivated individual who enjoys learning new things, who can work independently and in a team environment;
Strong organizational/time management skills;
Detail-oriented with the ability to follow up on tasks;
Computer experience, including MS Office and Excel;
Problem-solving skills;
Excellent communication ability, both oral and written.

• Networking with local businesses and homeowners to develop relationships. Working with our community.
• Provide optimal coverage for customers' life, personal, and commercial insurance needs.
• Provide outstanding customer service always.
• Continue to grow in the knowledge of new products.
• Develop and exceed production plans with team leaders.
• Work with clients to ensure that protection plans are all-encompassing and that all insurance needs are met for clients.
• Outstanding relationship-building and networking skills.
• Grow in knowledge of products through continuous education.
• Seek training, education, knowledge, and expertise from and with team members.

• Licensed: You will need to be licensed or get licensed for property, casualty, life, and health insurance.
• Experience is not necessary, just the right attitude and work ethic to learn and grow.
• Must be able to handle the entire sales process from prospecting to close in a professional and courteous manner.
• Must be able to work with all departments of the company in a collaborative way.
• Self-motivated, working individually and as a team.
• Professional in attitude and appearance - ethical and honest.
• Possess the ability to connect with a variety of personalities.
• Passionate about selling insurance and ensuring your clients are covered.
