CMM Quality Technician

Overview

Candidate will validate that components and products meet established standards and requirements, and perform basic measurements using measurement equipment.

• Job Preparation and Set-up
• Read blueprints and understand GD&T symbols
• Accurately recognize datum scheme and function
• Understand CMM machine operation and program it
• Format layout reports in MS Excel
• Prepare data and reports
• Perform basic analysis of specifications
• Review products for physical and technical acceptance
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematic diagrams, or formulas and confer with management or engineering staff to determine quality and reliability standards
• Recommend improvements to the system

• High school diploma combined with 2 years of CMM experience required
• Experience using software – CMM Manager 3.3SP1, Mcosmos 3.5, and Calypso 5.2 or higher
