Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) position requiring an active MI RN license and at least two years of CVOR experience.

Responsibilities

• Work in the Surgical Services Operating Room (CVOR) within a hospital setting

• Day shifts, four 10-hour shifts per week, 06:30-17:00

• 13-week contract assignment

• No blocked scheduling allowed

• Floating to a nearby sister hospital may be required

• Leadership in coordinating and delivering patient care using the nursing process

• Online modules must be completed onsite with a passing score prior to the start date

• COVID vaccine is mandatory for employment

• All pre-employment screening and documentation must be completed by firm deadline

• No requests for time off will be accommodated after assignment begins without manager approval

Requirements

• Active Michigan RN license required

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR nursing experience

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing

• Current AHA BLS certification required
