Assistant Clinical Manager — 6T / 7T Medical ICU / Neuro Progressive Care
4‑10 hour shifts between 3 pm and 6 am. No weekend or holiday requirement.
Candidate Preferences:
Minimum of 2 years RN inpatient experience with ICU exposure and progressively more leadership experience such as Charge Nurse or Supervisor.
A little about Henry Ford Jackson: A 420‑bed Magnet® designated Level II Trauma Center with over 40 community‑based outpatient locations. Services include cardiac surgery, minimally invasive structural heart procedures, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and total joint replacement, as well as home health care and hospice services. Henry Ford Health collaborates with Ascension Michigan, Michigan State University, and Detroit’s major professional sports teams to provide accessible and innovative care across Michigan.
Under the supervision of the Director / Nurse Manager, the Assistant Clinical Manager assumes both clinical and management responsibilities. The position plans, organizes, and directs patient care services within the department, assists in developing, implementing, and monitoring budgets, quality improvement programs, staffing levels, goals, and objectives, ensures regulatory compliance and policies, and supports personnel evaluation and discipline.
Education / Experience RequiredBachelor of Science in Nursing. Two years RN experience.
Certifications / LicensesCurrent RN license in the State of Michigan. BCLS/ACLS per unit standard. Unit‑specific certifications as required.
