Registered Nurse RN Ambulatory Neurology - Jackson

Join the Henry Ford Health team as a full‑time registered nurse in our ambulatorily neuro surgery department. Role: 40 hours per week, 8 am–4:30 pm, no weekend shifts.

• In‑basket, patient assessment, triage, medication refills, surgery follow‑up, patient education, etc.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care, and to teach patients and families. Effectively communicates with the health care team and demonstrates clinical competence.

Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor's Degree preferred. Successful completion of Henry Ford Ambulatory orientation. Maintains and demonstrates current clinical knowledge in area of specialty. Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills. Preference for experience in the specialty. Minimum of 1‑year RN inpatient or ambulatory/clinic experience. Neurology experience preferred.

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Current BLS or ACLS per Henry Ford Health policy. Certification required when it is a regulatory requirement in the State of Michigan or a documented community standard, e.g., Oncology Certified Nurse.
