Registered Nurse RN 36 hour Weekend Day - Jackson

Shift Details: Weekend hours 7:00 am‑7:30 pm; weekday hours 6:00 am‑6:30 pm. One holiday per year. No on‑call.

• Minimum of 1 year inpatient experience.
• EPIC experience.
• Prior perioperative experience highly preferred.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certification.
• Worked within a 44‑bed perioperative unit with 16 OR rooms.

Responsibilities: Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

• BSN preferred; graduation from an accredited nursing school.
• If ADN, must enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date and obtain the BSN within 5 years of start date.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
