Registered Nurse RN - Cardio Vascular Recovery Unit - Jackson

Full Time - 40 hours (4 - 10 hour shifts/wk), 7am - 5:30pm or until last patient is gone. Weekend on-call - every third weekend. 6 hours between 9am - 3pm

Candidate Preferences:
Minimum of 1 year RN inpatient experience working in ED, ICU, PACU, Pre‑op or Cath Lab. Experience with monitoring drips and moderate sedation.

Needs to live within 30-45 minutes of the hospital due to on-call requirement.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.

If ADN, must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of start date, obtain your BSN within 5 years of start date.

Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.

Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.

Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.

Health care provider certification (BCLS).
