General Summary
. Under general supervision, demonstrates ability to handle nursing problems and, in general, an expanded group of nursing practices. Performs nursing intervention across a variety of nursing situations. Identifies patient problems prior to explicit changes in patient-specific data collection (such as vital signs).

Education/Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Two to three (2-3) years of recent related clinical nursing experience in the area of practice and a demonstrated level of performance required.
- Willingness to float to multiple locations.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
Certifications/Licensures Required
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
- Current BLS.
- Current ACLS, NRP, EFM, ENPC, TNCC, NIHSS where required.
- TB, vaccines (i.e., flu).
