Full Time – 40 hours (4 – 10 hour shifts/wk). 7am – 5:30pm or until the last patient is gone. Weekend on‑call every third weekend. 6 hours between 9am – 3pm.

• Minimum of 1 year RN inpatient experience in ED, ICU, PACU, Pre‑op or Cath Lab.
• Experience with monitoring drips and moderate sedation.
• Must live within 30–45 minutes of the hospital due to on‑call requirement.

Hospital is a 420‑bed, Magnet® designated, Level II Trauma Center. Acute care services are complemented by more than 40 community‑based outpatient locations. We provide a wide range of specialty services, including cardiac surgery, minimally invasive structural heart procedures, neurosurgery, plastic surgery, and total joint replacement, as well as full home health care and hospice services.

Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide, delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching of patients and families. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to the health care team and participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals, ensuring implementation of solutions.

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. BSN preferred.
• If ADN, must be willing to enroll in an accredited BSN program within 3 years of the start date and obtain the BSN within 5 years of the start date.
• Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
• Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

• Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
• Health care provider certification (BCLS).
