Part‑Time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (Maternal Child Administration) – Henry Ford Health Jackson
Location: 205 N East Ave Jackson, MI 49201
Position OverviewHenry Ford Health Jackson is seeking an experienced part‑time Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our Level III NICU as a replacement position. This role is 100% inpatient and dedicated exclusively to the care of neonatal patients. The position requires an expected 20 hours per week with a variable schedule, primarily day shifts (10 hours), though shifts may vary and will include weekends and holidays.
Responsibilities- Comprehensive inpatient neonatal care: admissions, daily rounding, delivery room attendance, discharges, transfers, resuscitation, and stabilization.
- Procedures: endotracheal intubation, lumbar puncture, umbilical line placement, initial ventilator management, X‑ray interpretation, needle aspiration of pneumothorax.
- Staff mentoring and education, supporting high‑quality, team‑based neonatal care.
- Variable schedule.
- Expected hours per week: 20.

- NPP or NNP certified by NCC in the State of Michigan.
- Minimum two years of experience in a Level III NICU with delivery room experience.
- Experienced with independent decision‑making, procedures, and collaborative practice within a multidisciplinary NICU team.
- Nurse Practitioner with Master’s Degree in Nursing.
- Registered Nurse licensure.
- BLS certification required.
- NRP certification.
- DEA/CSL: required through credentialing.
- Minimum two years in a Level III NICU.
- Delivery Room experience.
- EPIC experience (preferred).
- NRP instructor preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Commitment to patient‑centered care and continuous professional development.
- Employee health requirement: complete a health screen per HFHS policy.

- Successful credentialing process is contingent on credentialing/privileging.
