Nurse Practitioner
Part‑Time | 1 Day per Week | Starting at $50/hour | Jackson, MI
About The Role
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner to join our Healthcare Partnership Program (HPP). In this role, you will be placed onsite at a partner organization to provide high‑quality primary and preventive care to employees, spouses, and dependents. This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys working autonomously while remaining supported by a collaborative healthcare team. You’ll focus on proactive health management, chronic condition support, and addressing urgent health needs—all within a workplace setting designed to remove barriers to care.
Schedule & Compensation
- Starting at $50/hour, based on experience
- Part‑time: 1 day per week
- 8‑hour shift (8:00 AM – 4:00 PM)
- Tuesday or Wednesday (set schedule)
What You’ll Do
- Provide advanced clinical care including acute/episodic care, preventive services, and chronic disease management
- Deliver care to HPP and school‑based patients as applicable
- Collaborate with HPP nurses on claims analysis and care planning
- Establish and follow clinical pathways and treatment protocols
- Conduct telehealth visits for HPP patients as needed
- Coordinate care with patients’ external medical providers and networks
- Serve as a clinical consultant while maintaining high standards of care
- Maintain all required licensure and certifications
What We’re Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Nursing from an accredited program
- Active, unrestricted State of Michigan Registered Nurse License
- Active, unrestricted Michigan Nurse Practitioner Specialty Certification
- Active FNP national board certification through:
- American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience in applicable settings (preferred)
- BLS Certification from AHA or Red Cross (or obtained within 90 days of hire)
Preferred Qualifications
- DOT Examiner Certification (training available if needed)
- Additional certifications or experience in areas such as:
- Primary Care
- Health Coaching
- Case Management
- Women’s or Men’s Health
- Sports Medicine
- Hospital‑based specialties (Med‑Surg, ICU, ED)
Physical Requirements
- Ability to communicate verbally and clearly
- Fully functional vision (with corrective lenses if needed)
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift or carry up to 25 pounds occasionally
- Ability to operate standard clinical and office equipment
- Reliable transportation for occasional travel to partner locations
- Physical requirements may change based on business needs
