Registered Nurse Med Surg | Jackson, Michigan

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years MS RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract nursing opportunity is available for an experienced Med Surg RN with strong clinical skills. This assignment is designed for nursing professionals who thrive in a dynamic environment and are comfortable floating to units of equal or lesser acuity as needed for optimal patient care.

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM shifts
• 13-week contract duration

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a Med Surg RN
• Valid and current RN license in Michigan
• Active BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Preferred:
  Telemetry experience is a plus
• Willingness to float to other units, including a lockdown unit, as required

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients on a medical-surgical unit
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care consistently and accurately
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure a safe, effective, and patient-focused environment
• Document all patient care activities in compliance with hospital standards and regulatory requirements
• Flexibly respond to changes in assignments and unit needs, including floating to other departments of comparable or lesser acuity
