Delivery Technician

This position entails daily driving throughout the greater Jackson County area, delivery, setup and product education in customer homes, as well as warehouse and on-call rotation. In addition to a clean driving record and basic mechanical ability, a commitment to excellent customer service, great verbal and written communication, and a team-oriented mindset are key.

• Delivers, repairs, calibrates, and maintains medical equipment and instrumentation used in health care delivery field.
• Assists in receiving and stocking of inventory.

• Provides delivery, pick up, repairs and maintenance of all types of home medical equipment and medical supplies.
• Gather any needed customer or insurance information as required.
• May collect money from customers for private pay charges as directed.
• Provides on-call services as required by the company.
• Monitors shipping, receiving, and stocking of inventory.
  
  Takes appropriate safety precautions and follows infection control guidelines.
• Cleaning of dirty equipment.

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Maintenance of an acceptable driving record in accordance with HFH/HFJH policies
• Knowledge of basic tools and warehouse equipment
• Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• State of Michigan Chauffeur's License
