Job Summary:

The UMMC School of Dentistry is seeking a dedicated and qualified individual for an open rank faculty position in the Dental Hygiene Department. This faculty role involves maintaining the highest academic standards, supporting student success, and contributing to the ongoing development and delivery of the Dental Hygiene curriculum. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship, and service, aligning with the mission and values of UMMC.
Department Overview  The Department of Dental Hygiene focuses on excellence in clinical education at the baccalaureate degree level. The Department operates undergraduate education and clinical training venues within the School of Dentistry.## Education & Experience

Required:

** Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene from a CODA-accredited dental program or an equivalent foreign degree
** Certifications, Licenses or Registration

Required:

** Current MS Dental Hygiene license or must be obtained post-hire within 90 days

• Experience in the didactic and/or clinical instruction of dental students
