The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS is seeking a full-time Physician (Emergency Medicine), board certified or board eligible, to join our expanding clinical practice. We are fully committed to providing top quality medical care by serving and honoring America’s Veterans.

Candidate must possess MD/DO from an accredited institution, have completed residency training to board certification, and possess an active, current, unrestricted license in any U.S. State or territory.

• Providing quality patient care to inpatient and outpatient Veterans—Approved clinical privileges in the areas of expertise as related to the Emergency Department (ED) and in all areas required to carry out the assignment duties and/or responsibilities
• Demonstrate sound decision-making skills, both clinical and administrative

• Potential starting base salary range: $310,000-$350,000
• Daily schedule:
  Tour of duty will vary and will be determined upon selection
• Paid Time Off:
  50-55 days per year (26 days of annual leave, 13 days of sick leave, 11 paid Federal holidays, and possible 5 days paid for CME)
• No Physician Employment Contract and no significant restriction on moonlighting
