Pulmonologist Critical Care - Full-Time Opportunity

GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center - Jackson, MS

The GV (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center in Jackson, Mississippi, is seeking a dedicated Pulmonologist to join our team. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and is eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP), providing up to $200,000 in student loan reimbursement for qualified candidates.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with acute and chronic respiratory conditions.
• Diagnose and manage complex pulmonary and critical care disorders.
• Provide intensive care to critically ill patients, managing respiratory failure, sepsis, and multi-organ dysfunction.
• Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, bronchoscopy, and sleep studies.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient diagnoses and needs.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, respiratory therapists, and other healthcare providers, to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Tour of duty (schedule) Monday - Friday 08:00 AM - 4:30 PM. Light on-call responsibility.
• Salary range: $300,000 - $400,000

• Board certified in Pulmonary Disease and/or Critical Care.
• Unrestricted U.S. medical license.
