Qualifications/Certification
All teachers must hold a Bachelor’s degree upon employment.
Must meet certification requirements by start date, which can include:
Possession of a valid MS teaching license with Special Education endorsements.
Reciprocity from another state license.
Enrollment in an approved Alternative Certification Program and passing relevant exams.
Prior Experience
Highly preferred:
Experience teaching Special Education, working in low-income communities, and improving academic outcomes for underserved scholars.
Placement:
Support students with IEPs at Smilow Prep.Compensation
