Overview
Senior Mechanical HVAC Engineer s role is available at ANY location in the United States. Ideally near a Jacobs U.S. based office.

Base pay range: $/yr - $/yr
Responsibilities- Layout and design of HVAC systems
- Development of the design criteria for the HVAC systems, including general comfort heating and cooling, precise temperature/humidity control, unique pressurization requirements, and/or cleanliness requirements for clean room applications
- Development of conceptual design and preliminary design documents, including sizing calculations, Air Flow Diagrams (AFDs), Process and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), and general arrangements
- Development of final design documents including specifications, sequences of operation, duct/piping layout, and final construction documents for systems such as chilled water and cooling water
- Coordination with other disciplines
- Professional Engineering License
- At least ten (10) years of experience in the design of HVAC systems for industrial facilities
- Thorough knowledge of codes and standards related to HVAC design
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- Adaptability to work within a fast-paced team environment with multiple deadlines
- Ability to lead a building mechanical team on a project and collaborate with other discipline team members remotely
- Software experience in Revit, Carrier HAP, Trane Trace 700, and Trane Trace 3D
- Experience in the design of plumbing/utility systems

The base salary range for this position is $ to $. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
