This is a site‑based role with flexible home office location in the U.S. for the Advanced Manufacturing Group. The VDC Lead manages and optimizes digital delivery processes, providing VDC/BIM/Digital Delivery leadership and aligning technologies with internal and client goals.

As the VDC Lead you will:

• Define digital delivery scope for project estimates and manage model deliverables.
• Implement Design and Construction BIM Execution Plans for EPCM projects.
• Integrate VDC tasks including 3D logistics and safety planning, 4D scheduling, 5D cost and quantity take‑offs, laser scan data integration, and Scan to BIM efforts.
• Administer and manage the Common Data Environment in Autodesk Construction Cloud across design to construction.
• Lead clash detection and resolution meetings; serve as BIM Subject Matter Expert.
• Coordinate feature data integration and monitor construction installation with model‑based practices.
• Develop and deliver training materials and technical guidance; recruit and mentor team members.
• Provide daily on‑site leadership and coordinate VDC activities with field operations.

Key responsibilities also include consulting during business development, proposals and estimates; collaborating with clients, representatives, and contractors; and managing trade partner modeling efforts.

• At least 7 years of experience in VDC/BIM roles within the construction industry
• Strong understanding of BIM technologies and their application in manufacturing environments in Design and Construction
• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, Navisworks, Revizto) and Autodesk Construction Cloud
• Experience with laser scanning and point cloud data management
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem‑solving skills
• Proven track record of on‑site leadership of VDC activities
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment on a site and virtually
• Experience in developing and implementing BIM execution plans
• Strong understanding of construction processes and MEP systems
• Willingness to work on site at a project near Baton Rouge, LA

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field
