About the PositionThe Parole Specialist III position is within the Parole Board Department of the MS Department of Corrections agency. The position role includes research, gather, prepare, and organize inmate information on the parole case summaries. Confirming parole eligibility on offenders, interpreting court and other documentation regarding offender's case history and preparing documentation required for parole hearing. This position will check program completeness, log and maintain oppositions.
Research, gather, prepare, and organize inmate information on the parole case summaries. Answer inquiries and provides information to authorized persons.
Successful candidate must have excellent communication skills, the ability to accurately maintain records, and detail oriented. Must be meticulous with details, be able to maintain strict confidentiality, have strong communication skills, possess excellent customer service skills and have the ability to work well in a team environment.
