Housekeeping Staff – Manhattan Community Care Center (Maintenance)

• Dust walls, vents, handrails, ceiling fans, baseboards, furniture, and blinds.
• Vacuum, spot clean, and shampoo carpets and furniture as needed.
• Sweep and mop floors.
• Clean and sanitize bathrooms, ensuring that all paper goods and soap dispensers are stocked adequately.
• Check for and remove marks from walls.
• Empty trash cans in resident apartments/suites and common areas.
• Follow proper cleaning and infection control policies and procedures.
• Document provision of services in accordance with Company policy.
• Report any hazards, violations, or sanitation issues to the Director of Maintenance and Housekeeping.
• Work collaboratively with peers and other team members to ensure the safety and satisfaction of all residents.
• Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times, particularly when interacting with residents and their families.
• Communicate with residents, family members, and guests in a respectful, diplomatic manner.
• Collaborate with associates in other departments to ensure that resident needs are being met appropriately.
