Certified Health Coach (24 hours with Benefits and PTO) – Jackson, MS

Marathon Health, a leading provider of advanced primary care, is looking for a Certified Health Coach to join our team in Jackson, MS.

The Certified Health Coach is part of the integrated health center team, working alongside providers and the Population Health and Wellness Team to deliver personalized coaching for patients. The role focuses on supporting primary care and expanding comprehensive patient care.

• Conduct individual and group coaching sessions to promote behavior change, wellness, and chronic condition management.
• Develop personalized wellness plans, set goals, and provide resources to track progress.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to offer coaching based on national clinical guidelines.
• Assist patients in scheduling medical appointments and making internal referrals.
• Facilitate health promotion programs such as group challenges, workshops, and biometric screenings; partner with vendors to introduce additional resources.
• Participate in client engagement events and help develop wellness program offerings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Bachelor’s degree in health science, counseling, psychology, nutrition, social work, or related field. Master’s degree preferred. Certification from the National Board for Health and Wellness Coaches (NBHWC) is required. Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a health coach, including one‑on‑one and group coaching.

• Comfortable presenting to small and large groups, both virtually and in person.
• Enthusiastic, solution‑oriented, resilient, and adaptable.
• Proficient with Electronic Medical Record software and Microsoft 365 tools.
• Excellent customer service, teamwork, time management, and organizational skills.
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.

Pay range: $36,000 – $48,000 per year for a 24‑hour weekly schedule.
