Job Details:

• Work a unique 6 days on, 7 days off schedule rotating every two weeks

• Schedule includes Thursday, Friday, Saturday then Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday

• Every other Saturday weekend coverage required

• 36-hour orientation period

• Work on GE mobile unit while in-house unit is being upgraded, then transition to upgraded GE equipment

• Required certifications: ARRT MRI, California license, BLS (must be AHA or American Red Cross)

• 2 years of MRI experience required

• Epic experience preferred

• Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing

• Nursys verification required within the last 2 weeks with valid state license

• Two references obtained within the last year required

• 50-mile travel requirement applies

• Complete various MRI procedures including brain, spine, abdomen, extremities, and specialized imaging

• Handle both adult and pediatric patients across acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma settings

• Perform advanced imaging techniques including MRA, MRV, perfusion, and spectroscopy

The organization maintains modern MRI equipment and is currently upgrading their in-house unit to provide the latest technology for patient care. The facility supports interdisciplinary collaboration with respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, and transportation departments to ensure comprehensive patient care across various specialties and age groups.
