Family Therapist

Madison, Hinds, Warren, and/or Rankin counties

The Center for Children & Families is seeking a Family Therapist to provide in-home counseling services to children and families. The therapist will engage families through a variety of programs, including Functional Family Therapy (FFT), Functional Family Therapy – Child Welfare (FFT-CW), and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) empowering them to build stable, healthy environments.

This position will report to the Clinton, Mississippi office, and will provide clients with in-home/community-based services across the Central Mississippi region.

• Educational background:
  Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Social Work required.
• Licensure & Credentials: DMH Credentials (PCMHT/CMHT) are required, but may be obtained after start date/during orientation. Preference for candidates who are licensed or provisionally licensed as a PLPC, LPC, PLMFT, or LMFT. Candidates with a master’s in Social Work must possess an LCSW. Licensure is not required to be considered
• Any level of experience:

• Contractor requirements:
  As a contractor at The Center, you will be required to hold workers’ compensation & professional liability insurance – these will be discussed in the interview process. You will also be trained in CPR, as well as any program requirements prior to providing services.
