The organization seeks a Product Manager to lead the Workday Performance Module initiative, overseeing delivery, optimization, and scalability within Workday using native functionality and Workday Extend. The role supports the HR technology strategy and prepares the platform for critical performance cycles.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $75.00 to $80.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities- Drive the vision and roadmap for Workday Performance in alignment with HR objectives.
- Oversee features built using Workday Extend and native Workday modules.
- Gather business requirements and translate them into user stories.
- Facilitate grooming sessions with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Assess data dependencies and impacts across HR systems.
- Ensure compliance and integrity of performance-related data.
- Validate solutions for business fit and scalability.
- Identify gaps and recommend optimizations.
- Manage post-pilot feedback and incorporate enhancements.
- Prepare for a February go-live and monitor the January cycle and July end-of-year review.
- Partner with HR, IT, and leadership to promote adoption and manage check‑ins.
- Serve as the primary liaison for performance management processes.
- Evaluate system performance post‑launch and drive continuous improvements.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager in HR technology or enterprise SaaS.
- Expertise in requirements gathering, backlog management, and Agile practices.
- Analytical capability to assess scalability and data impacts.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Calm, confident leadership with ability to navigate complex HR processes.
- Knowledge of Workday Performance and Workday Extend preferred.
- Experience with performance cycles such as January mid‑year and July end‑of‑year preferred.
- Background in HR technology implementations preferred.
