Senior Director, Global CSIRT Lead
Join KPMG US as the Senior Director of the Global Cloud Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT). KPMG provides audit, tax and advisory services across multiple industries, and seeks a leader to guide our global incident response strategy.
Responsibilities- Digital Forensics & Incident Response (DFIR) Oversight & Information Handling incident oversight including coordination of information security incident response capabilities across the global network.
- Strategic Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement; define and drive the strategic direction of the Global CSIRT function, including ownership of the Global Security Incident Response Framework (GSIRF).
- Cross‑Functional Integration & Alignment; lead collaboration with global teams and member firms to ensure cohesive incident response strategies and feedback loops.
- Lead the evolution and expansion of the service by identifying emerging technologies, security monitoring & response gaps, and process improvements using automation and AI.
- Lead and mentor a high‑performing global team of incident responders and forensic analysts.
- Develop and execute training and simulation programs to enhance team readiness.
- Act with integrity, professionalism, and personal responsibility to uphold KPMG's respectful and courteous work environment.
- Minimum seven years of recent experience leading and managing incident response teams within highly regulated industries such as professional services, finance, healthcare, or energy.
- Bachelor's degree in computing, information security, or a related field; a master’s, PhD, or equivalent professional experience is a plus.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH are highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success building and operating information security response services or other managed security services in a high‑volume, results‑oriented operational environment.
- Strong knowledge of enterprise security tools and platforms such as SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and vulnerability scanners.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess and mitigate risks and influence decision‑making at senior levels.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without a need for employment‑based visa sponsorship now or in the future. KPMG does not sponsor U.S. work visa status for this opportunity.
