Job DetailsJob Title: Data Center Smart Hands and Feet / Cisco Network Support
Location: Jackson, MS - must be local; we do not offer relocation assistance
Travel: Limited
Hours: This is Monday - Friday first shift, but will be in the on-call rotation (approx once every three weeks will provide 24/7 support)
Responsibilities- Provide on-site data center support for enterprise infrastructure.
- Provide 24x7 on-call, after-hours support in a team rotation.
- The Network Engineer will provide remote and hands-on enterprise network and data center support.
- Responsibilities include configuration and troubleshooting data networks, equipment installs, failed part replacements, installing fiber optic and copper cabling, and inventory tracking.
- Candidate will work in a team to perform planned project work, respond to incidents, and handle requests via the client’s Service Now management platform.
- 3+ years hands-on IT experience
- Data center knowledge
- Available for on-call support as rotation requires
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs
- Network Engineer with 3+ years of networking experience with Cisco enterprise hardware. Experience working with data center equipment.
- Experience with Service Now, category 5 UDP cable construction
