Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows and mappings using Informatica
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical ETL solutions
- Extract, transform, and load data from multiple source systems to target databases
- Optimize ETL performance, including tuning mappings, sessions, and workflows
- Handle data validation, data quality checks, and error handling
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve production issues
- Maintain technical documentation and ETL design specifications
- Collaborate with DBAs, BI developers, and business teams
- Ensure data security and compliance with organizational standards
Skills & Qualifications
- Strong experience with Informatica Power Center and/or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS)
- Solid understanding of ETL concepts and data warehousing
- Proficiency in SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, etc.)
- Experience with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting
- Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization techniques
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)
- Knowledge of data modeling (star schema, snowflake schema)
- Exposure to Big Data tools (Hadoop, Hive, Spark)
- Experience with version control tools (Git, SVN)
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
