Network Administrator

We are seeking multiple Network Support Technicians to join a growing infrastructure team supporting a large Cisco-based enterprise environment. Due to several recent retirements and team transitions, we are expanding our network support staff and are looking for individuals with foundational to advanced networking experience.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates who have hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies and are looking to grow their careers in a highly technical environment. The organization is open to contract-to-hire candidates, with potential for permanent employment.

Duration: 6-12+ Month Contract

Work Arrangement:
Primarily onsite.

• Troubleshoot and resolve network connectivity issues across enterprise environments
• Install, configure, and support network switches, wireless access points, and related infrastructure
• Perform network cabling, patching, and hardware installation activities
• Diagnose physical layer issues, including cabling, patch panels, and network equipment
• Support UPS systems and network equipment deployments
• Assist with ticket resolution and day-to-day network operations
• Configure and support VLANs and wireless access points
• Support routing, switching, and wireless technologies within a Cisco environment
• Assist engineers and administrators with network projects and infrastructure upgrades
• Utilize monitoring and management tools such as Solar Winds

Entry-Level Network Support Technicians

• 1+ years of hands-on networking experience
• Familiarity with Cisco routing and switching concepts
• Experience working with network hardware such as switches, patch panels, and cabling
• Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity and hardware issues
• Understanding of networking fundamentals including TCP/IP, VLANs, WANs, and wireless networking
• CCNA certification or equivalent networking knowledge preferred

This team is rebuilding and expanding its network operations function following several retirements and organizational changes. Candidates will have the opportunity to work in a large-scale Cisco environment, gain exposure to enterprise networking technologies, and potentially transition into a permanent role.

Contract-to-Hire Opportunity Available.

This is a Contract position based out of Jackson, MS.

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
