The Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services has a position available within the Public Relations/Communication Division Unit of Administration located at the State Office. The Mississippi Department of Child Protection Services (MDCPS) is committed to protecting and nurturing Mississippi's at-risk children and families. MDCPS offers a variety of positions statewide, including social work positions providing case management services and working with potential foster families, supervisor positions providing clinical and administrative support, and agency support positions such as policy development, human resources, information technology, program management, training, and budgeting/finance.

This Time-Limited (NS-14) Graphic Design and Production professional position will be accountable for identifying, planning, and developing communications and informational material relevant to the needs and interests of the agency. This position will collaborate with internal staff and external partners to manage the design, production, and distribution of unique publications or marketing materials for the agency. This includes project management and coordination of diverse resources, including agencies, external stakeholders (vendors), etc.,
and editing of final content to ensure alignment with goals and agency expectations.
This position will inform and respond to constituents through social media channels and formulate strategies and tactics for these channels that combine organizational strategy and measurable goals. This position will ensure that all digital media is within the agency’s overall brand standards.
