Co‑op Manufacturing Engineering (Summer 2026)
Eaton’s AS Aer FMC division is currently seeking a Co‑op Manufacturing Engineering (Summer 2026) role. The hourly rate for this position is $22.15 – $27.69 per hour; salary information is a general guideline only. Candidates are selected based on skill, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Responsibilities- Assist manufacturing engineers and other operations personnel in planning, machining, assembling, and testing hydraulic components and systems for aerospace and military applications.
- Engage in cross‑functional interaction with quality, procurement, and design teams on a daily basis.
- Perform production analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Learn lean concepts and tools; participate in lean "kaizens".
- Design and model machining and assembly fixtures and cutting tools.
- Operate and maintain 3D printers.
- Perform and develop monthly performance reports via ERP system and Access databases.
- Utilize ERP system in planning work order releases, etc.
- Develop production processes via Computer Aided Process Planning.
- Currently enrolled as a freshman, sophomore, or junior, or received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering at an accredited institution.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now or in the future.
- Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
- Must be a U.S. person for International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) compliance.
