Co‑op Manufacturing Engineering (Fall 2026)
Eaton’s IS AER FMC division is currently seeking a Co‑op Manufacturing Engineering (Fall 2026) position. The hourly rate for this position is $22.15 – $27.69 per hour.
What You’ll Do- Assist manufacturing engineers and other operations personnel by performing tasks and assignments related to planning, machining, assembling and testing hydraulic components and systems for aerospace and military applications.
- Interact cross‑functionally with quality, procurement, and design.
- Perform production analysis and recommend process improvements.
- Learn lean concepts and tools; participate in lean “kaizens.”
- Design and model machining and assembly fixtures and cutting tools.
- Operate and maintain 3D printers.
- Develop monthly performance reports via ERP system and Access databases.
- Use ERP system in planning work order releases, etc.
- Learn to develop production processes via Computer Aided Process Planning.
- Currently enrolled as a Freshman, Sophomore, or Junior, or have received a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering at an accredited institution.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Geographically flexible to relocate within the United States.
- Must be a U.S. person (citizen, permanent resident, political asylum seeker, or refugee) to comply with ITAR.
