Registered Nurse RN 6T Medical ICU PT Day - Jackson
Registered Nurse 24 hr/week - Part Time - Day Shift
6T Medical ICU - Acuity Adaptable Unit
Minimum of 1 year inpatient ICU or Progressive Care Unit experience preferred.
- Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
- Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
- Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
- Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
REQUIRED:
- BSN preferred. If ADN, must be willing to enroll in a BSN program within 3 years, obtain your BSN within 5 years.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
- Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
- Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel
- Enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program within 3 years of hire
- Completion of a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) within 5 years of hire
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES
REQUIRED:
- Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Experience with cardiac monitoring, titrating vasoactive drips, post-code care
- Professional Certifications to support a culture of nursing excellence
- Participation in Professional Advancement Ladder (PAL)
