About the Role
Human Edge Health is seeking an experienced Travel Med-Surg RN for a 13-week assignment in Jackson, MS. This position provides nursing care on a Med-Surg Burn Center unit. Candidates must be proficient in Epic charting and have solid Med/Telemetry experience. Burn unit experience is a plus, but not required. Previous travel experience is also preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med-Surg patients, including those on telemetry

• Administer medications and perform nursing assessments

• Respond to patient changes and emergencies appropriately

• Document care and patient status accurately in Epic Care Inpatient EMR

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure quality patient outcomes

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license

• 2+ years of Med-Surg / Telemetry experience (burn experience a plus)

• Epic EMR proficiency required

• Certifications:
  
  ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS – AHA or APEX
