Overview

The Partner Development Manager is responsible for developing and executing partner strategy within a designated geography and vertical. The role drives revenue growth, manages, and influences positive business outcomes for our customers and Iron Mountain partnerships. The manager has shared ownership of sustainable growth for each partnership, including lead development, maturing qualified opportunities, and acting as a subject‑matter expert for Iron Mountain sales.

The ideal candidate has deep knowledge of SaaS, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Intelligent Document Processing, and a proven track record in partner sales and marketing. The role works closely with Digital Business Unit sales teams to identify new revenue opportunities and leverage partner incentive programs to accelerate growth.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute a business plan to create pipeline through partnership vehicles, identifying opportunities with Iron Mountain and partners via account strategy and GTM activity.
  • Build and maintain exceptional cross‑vertical client relationships, including Financial Services, Healthcare, Life Sciences, Manufacturing, and Public Sector.
  • Communicate Iron Mountain partnership benefits to key stakeholders, focusing on strategic relationships and long‑term value.
  • Direct and influence lead‑generation activities to generate pipeline, aligning with sales teams on GTM plays to ensure goal alignment and sharing best practices across regions.
  • Manage joint inside/field sales processes with Iron Mountain and partner teams, and collaborate on joint sales calls.
  • Support sales campaigns, proposals, and closures; drive team mindshare through regular communication (win stories, cadence).
  • Enable Iron Mountain and partner sales teams on GTM plays by providing sales, presales, and technical knowledge to grow recurring SaaS revenue.
  • Provide forecasting and account opportunity visibility on Iron Mountain SFDC, tracking pipeline actions and priorities with stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Product Marketing, Presales, and Product Management to develop structured marketing and enablement plans as part of overall business execution. Manage partner engagement escalations and conflicts.
Key Skills, Requirements and Competencies
  • 5+ years of technology sales experience, positioning SaaS and digital solutions across large, complex accounts with a proven record of accomplishment.
  • Exceptional sales success working directly with customer decision makers and key stakeholders.
  • Enthusiastic, inclusive, positive, highly energetic, and fun.
  • Domain expertise in one or more sectors:
    Public Sector, Financial Services, Manufacturing, Healthcare.
  • Experience as a strategic account lead for a large, complex global organization, managing relationships with Fortune 100 customers.
  • Experience working across all levels of a highly matrixed global organization.
  • Experience working with global and regional partners.
  • Strategic mindset and highly consultative approach to partnering with internal and external teams.
  • Fluency in English; 2nd language (Spanish, French, or other) desirable.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent; MBA highly desirable.

Reasonably expected salary range: $ – $ + commissions.
