Job Summary
Securitas Technology, part of Securitas, is a world‑leading provider of integrated security solutions. We are looking for an Installation Technician to service ST products at customer sites. The position requires customer contact for all post‑installation problems and may include special project work.
Base Pay Range$27.00/hr - $34.00/hr
Responsibilities- Install intrusion, fire, CCTV, and access control security systems.
- Run electrical wiring in attics, crawl spaces, and other confined spaces, including drilling, trenching, and aerial runs.
- Complete all wiring, connections, and equipment installations ensuring customer and contractual requirements are satisfied.
- Assist and interface with the Installation Team Lead or Project Manager regarding on‑site scheduling and timely delivery of equipment.
- Conduct tests to ensure all newly installed systems and components are operational.
- Troubleshoot new system installations to ensure proper functioning and compliance with local, county, state, or federal codes, legal and/or insurance requirements.
- Present a professional image in personal appearance and vehicle presentation.
- Perform work assignments safely and within specified cost limits.
- Promote, build, and maintain good customer relations and assist with contract retention.
- Maintain company proprietary documentation in accordance with established policies, handling proprietary information appropriately and adhering to all safety requirements.
- Keep abreast of changes and developments in products and technology; attend and complete training programs as requested.
- Minimum of 1‑2 years of experience installing and/or servicing intrusion, fire alarm, access control, and CCTV security systems.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Vocational/Technical Degree in electrical, security, or computer systems preferred.
- NICET Certification preferred.
- IP Video and IT experience preferred.
- Ability to climb ladders up to 24 ft. and carry items up to 75 lbs.
- Availability to work on‑call on a rotational basis covering after‑hours and weekend emergency calls.
- Valid state driver’s license without restrictions.
