Emergency Power Generator Technician
Apprentice & Journeyman – Data Center Commissioning (
Full‑Time | On‑Call Required
)
We are hiring Emergency Power Generator Technicians to commission and test mission‑critical data center power systems. Work includes diesel generators, ATSs, switch gear, and integrated power systems.
Openings are available for both Apprentice and Journeyman levels.
Apprentice Technician- Assist with generator commissioning and load bank testing
- Support inspections, wiring verification, and system testing
- Learn troubleshooting of alarms and shutdowns
- Follow strict safety and LOTO procedures
- Mechanical/electrical aptitude
- Strong safety mindset
- Ability to work extended hours during commissioning
- Independently commission and test emergency generator systems
- Lead load bank, CX, and integrated systems testing
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control issues
- Mentor apprentices and support on‑call events
- Mission‑critical data center work
- Clear Apprentice → Journeyman progression
