Sales Associate Estimator

Job Description

Looking for an HVAC Controls salesperson/estimator, all levels of experience welcome to apply.

We’re looking for a person who can help us get projects estimated and proposals written. We do projects in southeast MO and southern IL. What we sell is a building automation system for HVAC controls, specifically WebCTRL by Automated Logic (owned by Carrier Corporation). Our markets are commercial, industrial, municipal, hospitals, schools, and churches. Our goal is to provide a premium product for our end-users, and we pride ourselves on our customer relationships.

A background or understanding of any of the following is preferred:

• BAS Control
• HVAC
• Mechanical (piping / plumbing / pumping / etc.)
• Electrical

• Reading / understanding project blueprints

• Communication skills
• Organizational skills
• Computer skills
• Positive attitude
• Work well with others
• Punctuality
• Good emailing skills
• Eager to learn / improve

• Doing takeoffs from mechanical and electrical drawings
• Estimating projects (software and training provided)
• Writing proposals
• Meeting with project engineers
• Meeting with customers
• Following up with engineers / customers
• Presentations (scheduling and presenting)
